DAILY RACING FORM OFFICIAL PAWTUCKET, R. I., April 6. Louis C. Gerry, Rhode Islands new administrator of racing, tackled the serious business of revising the rules which have governed racing " in this state for the past several years. Mr. Gerry plans a thorough study of the rules as laid down by his predecessor. Out of this study will undoubtedly come changes in some of the arbitrary regulations that irked last season. The new administrator intends to formulate a simplified code of rules, written so they can be understood and work to the satisfaction of both horsemen and the public. The revised regulations will be ready in plenty of time to govern the Narragansett spring meeting, which opens April 22. As in former years, Daily Racing Form will be the official publication from which records will be used to determine allowances made and claimed.
