BODY OF SCHNEIDER FOUND KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 6.— The body of Edward L. Schneider, missing business associate of "Boss" T. J. Pendergast, was found Friday in the intake of a water works between north Kansas City and Liberty, Mo. The body was brought to a Kansas City funeral home. Schneider was an executive of Pendergasts Ready Mixed Cement Company and an officer in six other Pendergast holdings. Schneider last Friday testified before the federal grand jury which reindicted Pendergast on charges of income tax evasion. The crew of a government boat came upon the corpse this morning. There were no marks of violence on the body, according to , authorities. A ring with the initials E. L. S. was on a finger of the drowned man. The Federal Bureau of Investigation took possession of papers and .25 in Schneiders pockets.
