BEAUTY BLEN, alertly handled, secured a contending position early, came to the extreme outside entering the stretch and, withstanding a. j brisk drive, disposed of MARBOLD, in the closing strides. MARBOLD, never far back, reached the lead I when settled in the stretch, butscould not withstand the winner. REACT raced to the front before going a quarter, set the pace through the first half mile under occasional urging, but drifted out in the drive, losing all chance. ANDNOW tired after racine forwardly placed to the final eighth. RIVERLASS finished fast after beginning slowly. ROYAL ONE had early speed. ROSEMERE ROSE could not keep up. SKY DOG did not like the slow track. SUNNY PORTRESS, well handled and never far back, came to the inside entering the stretch when the leaders went wide and, after disposing of BOLO ELLA, drew clear. COUNTRY STYLE, on the outside throughout, raced- evenly to the stretch, then closed resolutely, iut was not good enough for the winner. BOLO ELLA took command early, set the pace to the final eighth and faltered. GALLADON, well placed and a forward factor from the start, failed to stay when hard urged in the drive. ARIEL LADY began slowly, worked her way up steadily and finished determinedly under punishment. RED CRESCENT forced the pace for three-eighths, then gave way suddenly. LORD WIN tired. VIEJO was caught in close quarters approaching the stretch and failed to recover. WISE PAISANO, fractious at the post, showed nothing. AERIAL TORPEDO dropped back after displaying good early speed, continued to race evenly thereafter and gave a sharp effort. BOLO TIE took command leaving the back stretch and held a short lead when settled for the drive, but tired under urging. MOMEN-TITO faltered after racing forwardly placed to the last eighth. JUMPING JILL took command approaching the final turn, held a clear lead when settled for the drive, but faltered in the closing stages. HENRY HATTER, caught in tight quarters soon after the start, failed to recover under weak handling. SANDERS raced to the front at once, set the pace for the first half, then tired.
