Governor Presents Plate BOSTON, Mass., May 16. Gov. Leverett Saltonstall, of the Common-monwealth of Massachusetts, was the guestof honor at Suffolk Downs this afternoon for the running of the Governors Handicap. Following the stake he presented the winning owner with the handsome Governors Plate, an annual award.
