Reynolds; bred by Mr. W. C. Stroube. Winner entered to be claimed for ,000. WENT TO POST 6:36i. OFF AT 6:37 EASTERN WAR TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. HIGH ARCH, slow to begin and far back until the last quarter, began moving up on the inside and, wearing down the leaders, drew out in the last twenty yards. SUPREME FLAG, rated along back of the pace, responded gamely to hard riding and outlasted ESELKAY. The latter moved to the front after being straightened out in the back stretch, then drew clear and fought it out willingly in the closing drive. SAXONIAN worked his way up gradually and gained a short lead into the stretch, but was unable to maintain his advantage in the closing sixteenth. FRENCH TRAP was unable to better her position in the last eighth. MOBCAP moved up stoutly down the back stretch, but failed to, improve her position in the drive. ESTA made a bid nearing the stretch turn and moved up, then dropped back. STEEL KING quit.
