Won driving: second and third the same. GEZIRA went to the front early, swerved repeatedly when hard ridden through the stretch, but retained her advantage. BUSY LINE, away well, raced closest to GEZIRA after the start, held on well during the drive, but could not menace the latter, although easily best of the others. MISS RINK, on the outside, finished well under urgine. HASTY GRACE raced evenly without mishap. BIRD O GOLD raced well and had no excuse. AIR POWER tired. MISS JULIE Y. gave way after racing forwardly placed to the last eighth. NANCY LEE beean slowly. JESSICA went lame soon after the start and was pulled up. TRAIN came over sharply after the start, established a "clear lead and drew out to win as his rider pleased. LUCKY LASS, » sharp factor throughout, held on gamely, but was not good enoueh for the winner. IRISH WASH, on the outside to the stretch, swerved to the inside during the drive, impeding ROUGH KID, then failed to menace the leaders when hard urged. LOOKOUT GAL raced wide throughout. ROUGH KID, well up early, was bothered by IRISH WASH in the stretch and had to be taken up sharplv. DONNA BRAND could not better her position under good handling. CHINESE MAID had no mishaps. MAE MARS was never prominent. SUE DAMION began well, but was crowded back at the start, failing to recover thereafter. SIR MICKEY ran greenly. CHIC CABIN broke slowly. MAGIC LADY, in hand while close to the leaders to the stretch, responded readily when set down for the drive, but could not overhaul the winner. VALDINA VICAR, well up from the start, gave a good effort and had no excuse. RODIMIC, outrun early, finished fast on the outside. FAIRHAIRED BOY, away slowly, worked his way up steadily to the stretch, but went lame near the linish and could not be persevered with. GAY ELF tired. HARD LU went to the front at once, established a clear lead, but had to be hard ridden throueh the stietch to hold FLASHALONG. The latter, in hand while saving ground to the last three-eighths, came to the inside for the drive and finished resolutely under strong handling. DARBY DOC. away well, was under a strong hold while swerving before horses to the last eighth, then fniished well on his own couraee. TIME WAS. impeded near the three-eighths post, could not menace when clear. J LEE GREENOCK, under snug restraint throughout, was never prominent. PETO GINO. in trouble after the start when struck by DARBY DOC, failed to recover. SWAIN began slowly and would not extend himself on the fast track. Overweight — Hard Lu. 3 pounds.
