Mucho Gusto — Dropped Stitch Filly Arrives at Golden Maxim ST. MATTHEWS, Ky.. March 31— The first foal sired by the veteran campaigner, Mucho Gusto, arrived at Golden Maxim Farm here last Monday when Dropped Stitch gave birth to a chestnut filly, very large in conformation and who immediately caught the eye of those at the farm. The mare Dropped Stitch is a half sister to I Merry Sunshine and Shiny Penny, and is owned by Sam Palmer, of Kankakee, 111., and W. H. Bradley, of Lake Forest. 111. Mucho Gusto was a favorite at midwest tracks, where he raced during most of his active career. Shortly before his retirement he succeeded in entering the select group of winners of 00,000 or more. A brown colt by Gray Jack out of Star Cluster arrived at Bradleys place in Lake Forest yesterday. Bradley intends to take up several horses -for racing at Sportsmans Park, whose J meeting gets under way April 29.
