- 1 •f I , i - , - Directors of ICRA Approve Increased Fees for Jockeys TORONTO, Ont., March 31.— The directors of Incorporated Canadian Racing Associations at their meeting held last week approved the following increases in the jockeys fees: Rule 154 is amended to read as follows: "In the absence of a specified contract the fee to a jockey in all races shall be 5 for a winning mount and 5 for a losing mount, irrespective of the amount of the purse." In all hurdle races the fee for a winning mount shall be 0 and for a losing mount 5. thus making these fees the same as apply in steeplechases not exceeding ,000.
