Pick McDowell Vice-President Of New England HBPA Division SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 5. — John McDowell, of Salem, N. H., was elected vice-president of the New England division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, it was announced here today. The title carries with it the honor of being divisional head of that association in New England. Harold O. Simmons was elected secretary and treasurer. Committeemen chosen were Frank Dun-lap, Clyde Locklear, J. J. Kelly, L. G. Bed-well, Tom Haskos, Lyle Whiting, C. J. Gamble, Pat Fringe, W. C. Prickett and John Canzono.
