BRIGHT WILLIE, suited in the going and a prominent factor all the way, responded to urging in the stretch run and drew clear at the end. GALLANT BULL, a prominent factor from the start, bore over in the stretch run, but finished with good courage. aRALAK. on the inside turning for home, was blocked in the final sixteenth. IMA FASTONE had early speed. POT LIKKER, on the outside on the stretch turn, finished well. SIR HELIX showed a good effort. STAN I RACY began slowly. ARMY CADET was taken up at the start and raced wide. BOY SOLDIER had no mishap. TOWNHOUSE and BELLWETHER quit badly. COLUMN moved up fast going to the stretch turn, but was unable to menace the winner. ATOM BUSTER broke in a tangle, but finished well. HIP HOORAY ran in spots in the going.
