Revive Lady Riders Race PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 5.— On Wednesday, May 7, at 11 a. m., the Maryland Jockey Club will revive its Ladies Race which was a popular pre-war event. The five-furlong contest at "catch weights," is expected to attract leading women riders from Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. The trophy will be a piece of plate. At least two former winners of the Pimlico Ladies Race, trainer and steeplechase rider, Judy Johnson, and Sarah Bosley Merryman probably will go postward seeking honors for a second time.
