Trainer C. A. Cope Fined SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 7. — The stewards imposed the following fine: "A forfeiture of 0 has been placed against trainer C. A. Cope for violation of Rule 606 of the Rules of Horse Racing. Bossy Betty, a scheduled starter in the first race today, was found to be unfit for racing and Cope failed to notify the stewards prior to the opening of the Daily Double."
