The latter, followed in close attendance to the early pace, came to the outside to wrest command from OURAGAN VII. in the early stretch, but had little left when challenged • by the top one. BEACH BOY, slow to begin as usual, found his best stride on the stretch turn and finished full [ ot run. OURAGAN VII. took the lead while under mild urging nearing the last quarter, but weakened under j continued pressure and should benefit from the effort. BRAVE REWARD made up some ground in the late • stages after being outrun early. ALSIRAL tired from his early efforts. ALPHO quit. TOWNHOUSE was I through early.
