Labor Board Hearing Resumed In New York on Turf Dispute NEW YORK, N. Y., June 13.— Hearing | of the dispute between the "Horsemens Committee" and Local 814 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers, A. F. of L., representing the grooms and exercise riders at New York tracks, was resumed today in the offices of the New York State Labor Relations Board at 250 West 57th Street, New York City. Because of the illness of Bernard Davis, attorney for the Union, the session was devoted entirely to technical matters con cerned with charges of unfair labor practices against the horsemen in refusing to bargain with the union. At todays hearing, the point at issue was the establishment of the authenticity of documents signed by various owners, authorizing the "Horsemens Committee," originally headed by Herbert Bayard Swope, to act for them in negotiations with the Union, which was certified by the state board as bargaining agent for the grooms and exercise riders. The hearing was marked by objections and debate. The case will be continued tomorrow.
