REBUKE, steadied within striking distance of the leaders, came through on the inside when making his move, caught the leaders inside the final sixteenth and drew out. F. B. EYE moved up on the inside to take command after a half mile, was unable to draw clear and faltered near the end. OCEAN PLAY set the early pace, held on well after giving way and came again in the late stages, but was not good enough. SASON raced evenly. FEARLESS, well up throughout, lacked a late rally. NEAR MISS had no mishap. PHARACK tired after a mile. The others were outrun. Overweight— Samba Siren, 2 pounds. Attendance, 22,192; Total Mutuel Pool, 94,090.
