SASSY SUZANNE was hustled along on the backstretch to be prominent, lost ground going into the turn, came to the inside when clear and just lasted over BALLA FLIGHT. The latter was a sharp factor from the start, went up on the outside for the drive and was getting to the winner. C-RUDY made the pace early, could not match strides with the leader on the turn but showed a good effort. AVOCA MESSAGE lacked room on the turn. TOOTSIE McCABE was off poorly. MAIN BET was off tardily. SIR HARKEE was outrun. DEE WASH quit. MISS DEDUCTIVE dropped back when impeded going into the turn. JUST FOR LUCK broke slowly. FAIRY BREAD was on the rail while on even terms for the lead, shook off INFINITY K. and drew clear in the closing sixteenth, then lasted over ROSCOE GOOSE. The latter, slow to gain best stride, worked his way up between horses, was taken to the outside for the drive and closed resolutely. INFINITY K. was on even terms for the lead and faltered near the end. VALDINA DATE had no mishap. FANNIE MAC tired after racing forwardly for a half mile. CAKE WALK was through early. MARGARET T. showed nothing. CHAFLAN was eased up in the final quarter and came out of the race very lame. VIRTUE was a sharp factor from the start and showed a good effort. MON BAISER saved ground and had no excuse. KRISH ANN tired.
