INNATE, unhurried while outrun and trailing for a half, moved into closer contention on the final turns, then came beyond the middle of the racing strip for clear racing room and, closing fast, was up to wear down FOXIE TED. The latter, under mild restraint jyhile closely pressing the pace, assumed command when ready on the final turn, disposed of MAXIMONT, but ould not resist the winner. MAXIMONT was rushed to the leaders rounding the far turn, fought it out with FOXIE TED to the mid-stretch, then faltered. ALPINE ASTARTE made up some distance late on the outside. MAE WAVE did not respond when called upon. HYADE set the pace for six furlongs then faltered suddenly when headed. SWEEP HAND was taken up repeatedly while lacking racing room on the inside, then was forced into the rail by WACKEY WORLD at the half and could not recover. KILLER MAC, a keen factor from the beginning, came wide into the stretch, closed willingly when urged, swerved into SUNNY BONES inside the sixteenth marker, was quickly taken off and drew out. SUNNY BONES was under steady pressure to wear down BOLO HOWIE and reached the front in the drive, but was not good enough for the winner after suffering light interference. BOLO HOWIE was alertly sent into a clear lead from the gate, held sway into the final stages, then weakened only slightly. FEATHER STITCH quickly moved into contention on the inside from a slow beginning, then could not get up in the drive. CARTER GIRL had no excuse. MISS TESS lost ground on the outside. VINCETTE bore out on the turns. WILY was bothered by VINCETTE on the far tum, but showed nothing. PERRY, well ridden and steadied after being hustled into a clear advantage soon after the start, came slightly wide in the early stretch, then drifted in while holding BYRONIC safe. The latter, never far back and saving ground on the inside, was lightly restrained to the stretch, then closed willingly, but hung near the end. MISS MELISS moved up fast on the outside midway of the turn, lost -considerable ground coming into the stretch, then finished well. LITTLE CAPTAIN raced prominently placed between horses, but lacked a closing rally. BEST PUNCH performed evenly. WOLF WHISTLE was outrun. ROSTRUM was through early. Overweight— Rite Easy, 1 pound. AUNTIE, confidently ridden and eased back from the pace after a swift beginning, remained within easy striking distance on the outside, then responded willingly for the drive to take command and hold her opposition safe. TIGER NIP, a keen factor while saving ground, was hard ridden in the drive and finished gamely. ESTA VEZ assumed command midway of the final turn and drew into a clear lead, then drifted wide in the stretch run and weakened. GOLDFIELD, restrained within close attendance to the pace, easily assumed command when ready and drew into a long lead, then shortened stride in the late stages and maintained his advantage under punishment MARIE EGRET, outrun to the stretch, came to the outside and finished well. PLUCKY PRINCE held on gamely after showing good early speed. SOLEDA weakened. ELLEHCOR loomed menacingly oh the far turn, then faltered. FLYING GUY dropped back steadily. TEDDY TARN raced prominently placed under steady handling, was shuffled back slightly rounding into the stretch, then was energetically urged when finding an opening midstretch and responded to outfinish OLIO. The latter, never far back, circled the leaders in the drive and finished determinedly. STICKER was a sharp factor from the beginning and held on gamely to the end. GOLDEN THORN made a bold move on the outside to reach a narrow lead in the stretch, then weakened suddenly. PAINTED ARROW set an even pace and held on well. BIG ELM was outrun. GREAT FUN quit. NEWSPRINT was hustled to join ANOTHER BEL on the far turn, could not reach the front and faltered in the final furlong. AUTOMATON saved ground in the drive to close fast.
