Chicagoan Freeman Keyes Has First Derby Starter Today TodayFREEMAN FREEMAN KEYES master of Reverie Knoll Farm is starting his first Derby horse in Smoke Screen although the stable has nominated on two occasions before but the nominees did not become actual starters Keyes is president and chairman of the board of directors of a Chicago ad ¬ vertising agency and before he became interested in thoroughbreds some years ago was active in show horse circles One of his best show horses was Anacacho Denemark a champion five gaiter Since embarking upon a thoroughbred career Keyes has also become a breeder having some 20 mares at the Reverie Knoll acre ¬ age a 700 acre establishment near Dan ¬ ville Kentucky
