Jockey William Passmore Jr Gives Race FatherSon Angle AngleWILLIAM WILLIAM J PASSMORE JR has never previously ridden in the Kentucky Derby No jockey other than Passmore has ever handled Hannibal in a race No son has ever won the race with a horse trained by his father but this is not the first time such an incident has occurred Jockey Passmore will be just one week short of his twentieth birthday on Derby Day He was born May 10 1933 near Westchester Pennsylvania and he has been around horses practically his entire life Passmore started in the sad ¬ dle when he was 16 years old winning with his first mount Sharp Stables Minneapo ¬ lis at Jamaica on May 12 1948
