Henry Green Highly Pleased With River Downs Appearance AppearanceCINCINNATI CINCINNATI Ohio May 10 With the 1952 meeting Jess than three weeks away race fans of greater Cincinnati are showing much interest in the forthcoming session of 44 days which will see the curtain raised on Memorial Day Although the downtown offices of the River Downs track is not scheduled to open until Monday the man ¬ agement has been besieged with requests for reservations and it is very evident at this time that one of the largest gatherings in the history of the track will be on hand for the gala opener openerRacing Racing director Henry Green made a quick trip to Cincinnati following the Beu lah Park opening and inspected the track which had undergone a revamping since the close of the 1951 session and he was highly pleased with the tracks appearance Green spoke optimistically over the JL952 meeting and is confident fans of thisarea will see the best thoroughbred sport ever offered at the local track trackA A hasty check revealed closeVto 100 horses already on the grounds with more arriving hourly Racing secretary Gene Bury today stated that every available stall will be filled before the curtain ascends Decoration Day
