OFF AT 6:05 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. CLEAN BROOM was nicely rated in closest attendance to the pace, was sent to the front on the turn when BLAZING made his challenge and then held on determinedly. DELVE AROUND was steadied in a forward position, closed gamely when clear for the stretch drive, but was not good enough. ROUGH COOKiE was sluggish and far back to the stretch, then closed with a belated rush. SPRING MORN rushed into contention on the stretch turn, then hung. GREAT WHIRL was forced wide into the stretch and weakened. BLAZING came through close quarters on the inside, appeared ready to reach the front, but was taken back strongly from the inside of CLEAN BROOM on the stretch turn.
