C0RPICK took an early lead, settled in the stretch with a good advantage and won with something left. IRISH BRUSH, well placed from the start, was unable to reach the top one but held on well to best his stablemate, LAHEIM. The latter, under light restraint to the stretch, was unable to better his position when set down in the drive. ERUPT was outrun and had no mishap. C0LLE0NI lacked early foot and was never prominent. DERBY MORN had a rough trip. HASTY DRIVE was through early. ESPINO GOLD JR. saved ground from the start and tired after displaying early speed. NIRAL, in hand while racing within striking distance of the leaders to the stretch, assumed command from LADY ALIBI and drew clear when ridden out. CHILDERS lacked early foot but closed determinedly under punishment. LADY ALIBI, a keen factor from the start, went to the front after five-eighths mile, settled for the drive with a short lead, then faltered when challenged by the winner. PHIL E. S. was outrun and had no excuse. SOLID ROCK was never dangerous and had no mishap. PHALA MAN was never prominent. PICKMEN began sluggishly and was unable to- reach serious contention. GOLD MEDAL began fast, set the pace for five-eighths mile, then quit when challenged by LADY ALIBI. Attendance, 100,000 Estimated; Total Mutuel Pool, ,280,287.
