DEDICATE was first away from the gate, but was ; eased back and behind horses to save ground on the turn, came to the outside for the stretch drive and closed resolutely to wear down INFORMANT in the final yards. The latter raced in closest attendance to the pace and wrested command under prolonged urging in the final furlong, then did not have enough left to withstand the winner. CRAIGWOOD established a clear lead in the opening furlong, saved ground being challenged after three and one-half furlongs and weakened in the final run. IMPROMPTU raced slightly wide on the turn and lacked a rally. AMBERS FOLLY was outrun. WESTWARD HO could not keep up between horses early. IMAGEM showed nothing. AESCHYLUS quit. TRAFFIC JUDGE was not a factor. OLYMPIA WIZ raced slightly wide. HALF SHELL lost ground outside of horses at the first turn and again racing to the leaders on the stretch turn, then followed TOPSIDE drifting in through the last furlong, but outfinished that rival. TOPSIDE, probably best, was sharply pinched back after the start, steadily improved position down the backstretch, then reached the front under hard urging in the drive, but drifted in and hung. FAST CASH was intermittently urged showing speed and weakened. STRIKING HOUR was evenly rated in front, but faltered after six furlongs. GO A BIT quit Overweight— Fast Cash, 1 pound.
