| , New York Gets ,855,981 In Taxes From Jamaica Meet ALBANY, N. Y., May 9— New York States take from the pari-mutuel tax for the 20-day racing meet at Jamaica was ,855,981, compared with ,807,322 last year, George M. Bragalini, president of the state tax commission, said today. Both attendance and betting declined this year. The state tax, however, went up from nine per cent last year to 10 p~ cent. Attendance at Jamaica .aged 29.262 daily compared with 31,219 .or the 21 -day meet last year. The total betting this season at Jamaica was 6,689,934, while last year it was 1,291,377. The average betting per patron this year was 9.78, compared to 8.24 last year. New York City received 66,899 in pari-mutuel revenue.
