Official Program Numbers of Placed Horses HorsesOfficial Official program numbers have been added to Daily Racine Form charts These official program numbers immediately precede each horses name in that portion of the chart which contains the mutuel prices and equivalent odds to 1 of the horses involved in the official payoff In most instances the official program numbers are similar to the post position numbers in some cases they are completely different being affected by late scratches sta ¬ ble couplings and mutuel fields At all times the official program numbers will conform with those assigned each horse in the official track program
