War Preparedness on Display At Delaware Park on May 18 18STANTON STANTON Del May 1 A mammoth demonstration and display of Americas preparedness in the event of war will be staged by the Delaware National Guard at spacious Delaware Park in observance pf Armed Forces Day Saturday May 18 In ¬ cluded in the combined public display training session will be the newest radar detection equipment in the United States and some 200 pieces of antiaircraft artil ¬ lery along with more than 1200 guards ¬ men in action actionThis This will be the third straight year that the Stan ton track where thorough ¬ bred racing returns May 29 for a 32day meeting has cooperated with the Guard in providing its facilities as a service to bet ¬ ter public understanding of the nations military defense plans The big show will be a morning and afternoon affair and the public is invited gratis with motorists ad ¬ vised to use the Ogletow Rood anstcrly entrance
