Delaware Park Officials To Witness Kentucky Derby DerbySTANTON STANTON Del May 1 Although Del ¬ aware will not have a starter4n Saturdays Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville the Diamond State will be well represented by officers of Delaware Park where a 32day race meeting gets under way May 29 Donald P Ross president of the Stanton track and owner of the Bran dywine Stable and Lewis S Munson Jr track treasurer depart from Wilmington by train tomorrow to witness the mile and onequarter Run for the Roses Already on hand in Louisville is Bryan Field vicepresident and general manager of Delaware Park who has several radio and TV commitments this week culminat ¬ ing with the Derby on Saturday These of ¬ ficers naturally will have much interest in Fridays running of the Kentucky Oaks the result of which could have a bearing on Delaware Parks 1957 version of the quartermillion dollar Distaff Big Three the Oaks New Castle and 150000 Dela ¬ ware Handicap the latter the richest of all fillyandmare stakes
