j Kaytee Going in Derby JAMAICA, L. I.. N. Y., April 24.— Trainer • I j George Strate who has Kaytee in training ; for the Woodvale Stable of Mrs. Roy Martin, said this morning that he would 1 ship to Louisville, Ky., to start in the Derby. . The three-year-old son of Blue Larkspur ■ j ! I from Occult, by Dis Done, was given a mile , test over the main track at Belmont Park this morning. He was sent one mile and j through the late stages was stopping badly r and was timed in 1:45. The first part of i the trial was accomplished in fast time and j he was caught the first three furlongs in i :3525, the half in :4835, and the five furlongs • in 1:02. The six furlongs were timed I in lries and the final quarter ridden out : i • I : in :284i seconds. Kaytee wai not rigged with blinkers, an equipment he wore in hi* one winning effort.
