Tigers Sign College Slugger DETROIT, Mich., June 4- UP.— The Detroit Tigers today announced signing "of 19-year-old Frank Boiling, who batted .431 and played second base for Spring Hill College at Mobile, Ala., this spring. One of the most sought-after baseball youngsters in the South, Boiling will report to the Tiger Class "D" Farm Club of the Pony League at Jamestown, N. Y.
