STEWARD AT CONEY ISLAND NKW YORK. N. Y., June 17.— Charles V. Irimrose has accepted the office of presiding steward at the Coney Island meeting in Cincinnati. While the dates for this meeting have not y.-t baen published, it was announced by W. V. I wycr and William lialpin that the meeting will continue from July 22 to September 11. It is proposed to give away 0,000 in stakes, and the purses will show an increase over those of last year. -Mr. Primrose will go to Collinsville for the Kairmount Derby and will return to New York in the int. Tests of the Coney Iuland meeting early next week.
