KINBURN raced closer up than usual in the early running and finished gamely. KARACHI, shuffled back at the start, closed a gap on the outside and finished close up. MAY BIDDY closed a gap. MIGHTY began slowly, but quickly raced to the leaders when approaching the last turn and. passing GUY CLAYTON when a sixteenth out. drew away in the last few yards. GUY CLAYTON set the early pace, but was easily passed by the winner. FLOY LILLIE made up ground and finished fast. IDLE THOUGHTS tired in the last eighth after showing much speed. KITTEN ON THE KEYS was outpaced in the early running, hut finished well after having closed an immense gap. AM I EARLY raced well and had no mishaps. CUBAN FLAG was crowded out at the start. The ethers tired badly from being much used in racing half the distance after a false start occurred when the barrier sprang up. The field was recalled and dispatched again in good order.
