Won handily; second and third driving. STCKDY STELLA, closest up from the start, passed BROOMONEY when called on and held MATH sate in the final drive. MATH, on the outside of the leaders all the way, responded gamely ■when called on ami finished fast. BKOOMONEY, away fast, set a good pace and saved ground where possible, hut tir-d in the -tretch. CRIMDLS ran well. STAR LIGHT was interfered with when entering the clhow. JOLLY Itoi.KK followed BRANTOME under restraint and, moving up on the outside in the final turn of the field, crossed sharply across in front of GASPER at the final jump, for which he was disqualified. CASPER raced close up from the start and made a challenge when caUed on and probably would have won anyhow had he not met with interference. BRANTOME showed the most speed for over a mile and ran a good race, but was disqualified with his stablemate. FKEDDEN ROCK was close up for the first turn of the field. SARIN A steadily improved her position on the inside and, finishing resolutely when called on. outstayed DONNAVIDEO in the final drive. DOXNAVIDEO ran a good race and finished fast. FRIGATE was forced hack on the far turn, but came on the outside when entering the stretch and finished with a rush. LADY RAGLAN set a good pace and tired. BETTER TIMES was rushed into second place from a slow beginning and tired badly. EXCHEQUER and DREAM OF THE VALLEY were as good :.s left. The latter raced in closest pursuit throughout and stayed gamely to the end. ALL IN ALL ran well and had no mishaps. LITTLE ASBESTOS could never get to the leaders FLAT IRON quit.
