ROCKAlIHNE was outpaced early and finished with a rush. t MINOTAUR finished well but wide. FATIGUE suffered from interference at the eighth post and war-eased up. MAYOR WALKER showed little speed. EIDER took the lead at the third jump and. jumping in faultless fashion, withstood challenges from fj KATHLEEN CROSBY and FREDDEN ROCK early and drew away from the latter when going to the last p Jump, although his stirrup iron broke and his jockey finished with one foot free. FREDDEN ROCK made r, several challenges in the last turn of the field, was was held safe. MADRIGAL II. moved up fast after taking the tenth jump, but could not gain. RAGWEED raced and jumped well. MANTONIAN was always j outrun. KE KON-BOY and KATHLEEN CROSBY lost their riders at the seventh jump and GUN BOAT fell at the ninth.
