I LEXINGTON TURF NOTES ? . _ $ — LEXINGTON, Ky., May 5. Harry S. Hart, who has arranged to take an extensive holiday, has turned the filly Pipestem over to Jack McPherson, who will race her for him. Mr. Hart expects to leave for Hot Springs within the next ten days and will later make a trip abroad. There is a chance that he will dispose of the successful stock horse Prince Pal within a short time. Several offers for the stallion have been received by Mr. Hart. Fred Burton, who is in charge of the jockeys quarters at the Kentucky tracks, will take on added duties at Louisville, where he will accept entries at Douglas Tark from 7:30 to 9 oclock each morning during the Churchill Downs meeting. F. A. Kelly sold at private terms the plater * Brunell to W. P. Carroll this morning. It was announced that the schooling and preferred lists made up during the meeting here will be continued through the Louisville and Latonia meetings. Twelve horses remained on the preferred list when the entries were closed for todays races. L. V. Bellew shipped the thirteen horses of J. C. Ellis to Aurora this afternoon. Jockey Byron Ray accompanied the stable. The horses Katherine W. and Blue Granite, which L. V. Bellow, Jr.. is training for R. Wingfiold, will be shipped to Louisville Sunday. "Heinie" Kavanaugh has arranged to ship the horses of L. A. Lyne and B. Combs to Fairmount Park next week. The stable of Mrs. W. J. Potter of Mobile will be campaigned at Churchill owns before proceeding to Fairmount Park. « — _
