CANADIAN RACING OFFICIALS TORONTO. Ont., May 5.— At the annual meeting of the Canadian Racing Associations the following officers were elected for the ensuing year : Chairman, George M. Hendrie ; vice-chairman, J. K. L. Ross, and secretary, W. P. Fraser. The following racing officials for the sea- son of 1928 were also appointed : ] Steward, Francis Nelson ; starter, Marshall i Cassidy ; assistant to secretary, A. E. Stewart ; clerk of the scales, E. Whyte ; timer, i D. A. Boyle, and in charge of jockevs rooms, J. J. Farrell. _ —+.
