DIVOT, having fine racing link, saved much ground on the first turn, rassed SCOTLAND YARD icte the lead when called on and drew away to win cantering. SCOTLAND YAKD ran out badly when going to the first turn, but soon raced into the lead and, although no match for the winner, easily held the others safe. SPOT LIGHT gradually improved her position and finished gamely. THISTLE CLAD also had good luck, but tired after going five-eighths. CASSIE mot much early interference and had little chance.
