MON TALISMAN MAY NOT RACE SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. PARIS, France, May 5. — It was reported here today that Mon Talisman, champion three-year-old in France last year and the leading money winner, may not race this year. He is working poorly and it is doubtful if he can be brought to racing condition. Mon Talisman had a glorious career last year when he won five of his seven starts, finishing second in the other two. He won the Prix de I/Arc de Triomphe, Prix du Jockey Club, Prix Lupin, Prix Daru and Pricjuigne. He was second to Fiterari in both the Royal Oaks and Grand Prix de Paris. In the Prix du Jockey Club Fiterari finished second to him and in the Prix de LArc de Triomphe, he decisively defeated his great rival, Fittraii. finishing fourth behind Mon Talisman, Nino ami Felton. Mon Talisman i3 a son of Craig an Eran — Ruthene.
