LOUD SPEAKER AT OMAHA Broadcasting System to Be Installed at Ak-Sar-Ben Field — Large Barn to Be Erected. OMAHA. Neb., May 5.— The Ak-Sar-Ben Exposition Company, which conducts the racing here, has let a contract for the installation of a broadcasting system of the latest type, which will be used to describe the running of all races at Ak-Sar-Ben Field. This system will be similar to that used at Arlington Park, Aurora, Bowie, Pimlico, Fair Grounds and other big tracks. In fact it is predicted that all the major tracks throughout the country will be equipped with such broadcasting systems before the year is over. The Ak-Sar-Ben organization has likewise awarded a contract for the building of a 300-foot scpiare barn, with accommodations for 400 horses, to be finished June 1. This new barn will be used for the live stock show and stabling of horses during the June meeting.
