SUFERFRANK was close up. but outrun in the first three eighths, then came on the inside when entering the stretch and. losing a gap. finished fast. FANNIE MAY was shuffled back and closed a big gap. I was far ha. k for a half mile, but came rapidly in the stretch and got up in the last stride for third I place. ANACONDA suffered extensively on the stretch turn, when HOT TIME came wide and tired near the end. FREYA raced close up on the outside throughout and, coming fast through the stretch, outgamed SANDRAE. The latter raced into the lead in the first quarter and. racing on the inside, held it fairly well, but was headed in the stretch. OPEN HAND lost ground by rac ing wide on the turns and was unable to get up. STAR FALCON ran well for five-eighths, then tired and met interference in the stretch.
