w LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS E. Shropshire, riding at Washington Park, was the outstanding star among the riders last week, piloting nine of his mounts to victory. Shropshire apparently has recovered his best form. A Robertson, the leader, increased his total of winners by two, his years record now reading ninety-three winners. H. Kenly, riding at Wheeling, was next to Shropshire in number of winners for the week, having had eight successful mounts. R. Townrow was in the limelight in Canadian racing with four winners.
