SANTA SOPHIA moved into the lead with a rush on reaching the first turn and continued to draw out steadily to win with much in reserve. TEA CRACKER was away slowly, but moved up fast in the stretch and finished gamely. THEO. ROCHESTER showed a good performance. FOXY SETH began tiring after going three-eighths. MISS LOTTA suffered some interference. LYBIA began well and tried to swerv? out at the first turn and was sharply restrained until straightened out in the stretch, whore •he swerved badly. SCOTLAND began fast, showed the most early speed, but tired in the last sixteenth. NORA I, had no mishaps and had to be urged hard in the last eighth to wear down MINO. HAM came from far back in the atretch and would have been second in a few more strides. SWEEP-NET tired after being straightened •at in the stretch. HOUSEBOY tired fast after a half mile. HAZEL DENSON raced close up from the start, and was kept in the deepest going in the last half mile. BLACK BART came gamely near the end after being far out of it.
