BOX RESERVATIONS HEAVY Requests More Than Double Those for Last Years Arlington Park Meeting. Requests for box reservations at Arlington Park during the race meeting that will be inaugurated July 1 and continue for twenty-nine days, are pouring into the offices of the American National Jockey Club in this city and it would appear that all local records in this regard will be surpassed. Requests are not altogether confined to Chicago patrons, but are also coming from racing devotees in the East and other sections of the country. For purposes of comparison It mar be stated that the club house and grandstand box reservations this season are twice as numerous as those received for the June meeting at Arlington Park last year. President Otto W. Lehmann regards this as significant of the wonderful interest being taken in the approaching meeting and believes it augurs well for a most successful season. Racing secretary Joseph McLennan has been devoting much time and study to the compilation of the condition book of the first week of the Arlington Park meeting, and he believes he has so arranged the conditions as to bring the best horses into daily competition and insure a satisfactory class of racing. The books will also contain the entries to the 0,000 American Classic and the other ten stakes to be run during the meeting and will be ready for distribution in the course of a few days.
