Patricia J., the good six-year-old daughter of Sweep — Ethelberta, owned by Donat Raymond of Montreal, will be retired to the stud, and her first mating will be with Cudgel, the good son of Broomstick — Eugenia Burch, which is now standing at Verscheres, Quebec. Chicsal, another of the Raymond string, will likely be sent along with Patricia J. Stake blanks for the meeting of the Dorval Jockey Club, which will be conducted July 13-20, were distributed among the horsemen racing here and they include the Juvenile Stakes, ,500 added, five and one-half furlongs, ; the Quebec Derby, ,000 added, one mile and a sixteenth, and the Queens Hotel Handicap, over a like distance. Nominations for the above races will be accepted until June 29. Eugene Bury is taking care of the horsemen here and out-of-town nominators can make their nominations known to the office of the Dorval Jockey Club, Room 123. Windsor Hotel, Montreal. Harry Giddings, Jr., trainer of the stable owned by Harry C. Hatch, announced that High Dell was unsexed this morning by Dr. Henderson. J. G. Fair received word from his farm in Brantford, Ont., announcing the arrival of a foal by Pitts ton— McTab. Contemplate, the good sprinter now being campaigned at Long Branch by Frank Gilpin, and the property of Harry C. Hatch, will be shipped to Blue Bonnets in the shipment that carries the Seagram racers to the Montreal course. The apprentice allowance was waived on Cut Bush, a starter in the seventh race today and he carried an additional five pounds. «
