PERSONALITY responded to severe pressure when racing into the lead on the inside during the f |iening Miter, drew into a long lead on the turn and, continuing well, held his position safe. GOLDEN COLNA was in close quarters fur three-eighths, then saved ground while closing with a rush through the stretch. BROOKDALE MISS, a factor throughout, saved ground to the stretch, where she swerved a trifle under punishment. JEFF ONEIL tired in the final drive. BROOMSTER had no mishaps. THE BAT begun slowly.
