ROSE OF SHARONS PREP LATONIA, Ky.. June 19.— On the eve of her departure for Washington Park. J N. Camdens filly Rose of Sharon was given a final stiff preparation for the Illinois Oaks. Rose of Sharon responded brilliantly when she negotiated a mile and an eighth in 1 :5l and eased up an additional eighth in 2:06. She went the quarter in iand%, half in MS1-,, thre-quarters in 1:13 and mile in 1 :■ ,. ami her trial was one of the fastest and must impressive by a thivc-year-old over any of the Kentucky trail. s this season.
