June 19.— The Royal Hunt Cup Race, principal feature of the second day of the famous Ascot meeting, was won by Songe. Caballero was second and Guards Parade third. Twenty-nine horses ran. The Ascot meeting reaches its climax tomorrow with the famous gold cup race in which Mrs. Herz famous thoroughbred Reigh Count, winner of last years Kentucky Derby, will start. Early edds on the American horse were quoted at 4 to 1 and it was reported he might go to the past at even shorter odds. Advance betting, 5 to 2 on Invershin, 4 to 1 on Reigh Count, 7 to 1 on Palais Royal, 10 to 1 on Cyclonic and Cri de Guerre, 11 to 2 on Cacao, 100 to 8 on others.
