f~BAJNBRIDGE PARK NOTES j $ 4 GEAUGA LAKE, Ohio, June 19. Charles Campeau, who served as clerk of the scales during the early part of the Bainbridge Park meeting and who has been confined to his room due to a severe cold, is progressing favorably. Several horses are en route here for the 2,000 Ohio Derby to be run here Saturday, the closing day of the meeting, among them Bather, G. Collins* Thistle Fyrn and H. P. Headleys Yam Toy. Jockey A. E. Pascuma, who will be astride E. B. McLeans Silverdale in the Ohio Derby, will fly to the course. Jockey R. Cramer luckily escaped serious injury when the saddle slipped on Ursa Major when racing in second place at the final sixteenth pole in the seventh race Tuesday. E. B. McLeans Silverdale arrived here today to run in the Derby on Saturday. He unloaded in good shape.
