SUFFERS FROM SICKNESS LATONIA, Ky., June 19.— It developed today that C. E. Hamiltons Royal Son, which suffered decisive defeat after being installed a pronounced favorite for the final race Tuesday, was the victim of a peculiar but chronic illness shortly before he left his stable for the race. During the attack Royal Son is alleged to have fallen heavily in his stall, suffering several cuts on the head. Upon reaching the paddock, James Ga:?s, trainer of the horse, reported the incident to paddock judge Chawk, who made an examination. Aside from the cuts about the horses head judge Chawk reported that he found the racer in normal condition and thus did not recommend that he be withdrawn. — _A
