This chestnut son of Man o AVar Starflight appears i to have been well fitted for this trial before , leaving the farm at Arlington, as he accomplished the work in handy style. Play Time was worked the next longest i Derby trial, being eased up a mile and one-eighth in 1 :59. My Hobby was sent along with the Southland Stables colt for the first 1 part of the journey, but at the mile he was 1 trailing Play Time three lengths back in 1:44. The first six furlongs were turned : in the fractional time of :24?3, :50 and 1:1G. This colt will probably be the main dependence of Mr. Bacharaeh in the Derby as : it is thought the faster of the two All Upset i may turn out to be only a sprinter. j Maudlins move at the mile was a creditable one, as he worked with Reyburn and distanced him by ten lengths at the end in j 1:45, eased up.
