SCOTLAND began fast, drew away-from MARYS TOY-into a good lead after reaching the turn and, continuing in his best form, held JOAN K. safe. Thelatter, prominent from the start, raced evenly and held on gamely. MARYS TOY began fast, saved much ground and faltered in the final drive and just lasted for third. MISS CHILLA raced forwardly, saved ground and, closing fast, was going best of alt at the end. THUNDER NYMPH had no mishaps. MADAM FLORENCE lost ground. AVESTYS BROOM begau slowly and suffered mild interference. LADY SWEET was outrun. The latter moved up fast after reaching the turn, lost ground entering the stretch and closed gamely. STOP GAP showed speed, saved ground and tired in the final drive. AVOOD AXTON raced evenly. STEVEN B. began slowly. BOBBY DUNCAN quit in the final drive. RACKETEER was ou the outside the opening three-eighths, swerved to the inside approaching the stretch and tired. DOLAN -showed speed from the start, saved ground and held on stubbornly after reheading GOLD RIDGE. THISTLE ARIOUS, on the outside throughout, raced gamely in a long drive. GOLD RIDGE forced the early pace well in hand, went to the front on the stretch and ired in the final fifty yards. OUR PAL held on well. FLORIII lost much ground.
